Finally, an available 3.0-liter DuraMax® Turbo-Diesel I6 produces 305 horsepower and 495 pound-feet of torque. You can pair these engines with either rear-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission or four-wheel drive and a 10-speed automatic. When properly equipped, the Silverado 1500 can tow up to 13,300 pounds.
